Teaching Pastor: John Yates (AA, BA, MAR)

Thousands of Christians in hundreds of churches around the world gather each week to hear the life-changing teaching of our Pastor.  John is the founder of Faith Bible Institute and Project One Generation Discipleship Evangelism Ministry and the author of 25 books on the Bible, Theology, Angels, Prophecy, Creationism and Evangelism.  He is a Monroe native and has been part of our pastoral staff since 1984.  He and his wife Linda (who leads Women with Purpose) have 3 children, Christy, McKayla and Jonathan.

Congregational Care Pastor: Norman Bryant (BA in theology)A Vietnam veteran with almost 40 years experience in pastoral ministry, Brother Norman directs our pastoral, senior and hospital care ministry.  He also leads our Bus Ministry.  He and his wife Barbara have two adult daughters, Rhonda and Carmen.20

Family Pastor: Larry Fincher (BSEE and MSEE)

Larry and his wife Thelnita are founders of HomeBuilders Ministry and teach on marriage, parenting, finances and leadership at conferences and seminars around the world.  You can enjoy their Couples Sunday School Class in our Family Life Center on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM.

Worship Leader: Wayne Adams (ThB)

An army veteran with over 40 years experience in leading worship and ministries, Wayne and his wife Jeanette have been part of our church family since 1979.

Youth, Children’s & Education Pastor: Jonathan Barbo

A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jonathan works with our Youth, Children’s and Education Ministries, as well as leading Men’s Fraternity.  He and his wife Ashley have two children, Brennon and newly born Elizabeth,

College and Evangelism Pastor: Heath Loftis (BSA)

Heath and his wife Ashley lead our college ministry, the Baptist Student Fellowship on the Campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  Ashley is a school teacher.

College & Youth Worship Leader: Kevin Berry

Kevin grew up in RRBC and has just joined our ministry team as Assistant Worship Leader, directing our College, Youth, and Children’s Worship.  He is married to Abigail.
